March Continues in BSSL

Mass United took another step towards promotion to Division 1 in the Bay State Soccer League with a 6-0 trouncing of Rovers FC on Saturday. The win at least temporarily moves United into first place. Results from the crucial Milford Portuguese Club v Middlesex match aren’t in yet but for the scoreboard watchers out there we’re routing for MPC in that one. Not that many other results will matter if we take care of our own, but already being ahead for the match with Middlesex would be nice. Next for United is a dreaded last-one-before-the-big-match match against FC Americana on October 15th. Now don’t let FCA’s low point total fool you, they would be in sole possession of 4th right now were it not for an 18 point penalty. This is not a match to be overlooked in any way. But let’s not worry about that until tomorrow. Tonight, there’s a victory to celebrate.

UPDATE: Middlesex hangs on to first place with a win over Milford Portuguese Club. The score listed is 3-0, view results here, select Division 2.
